Seniors Pontoon Boat Cruise

The Woodlake Seniors enjoyed a relaxing and educational pontoon boat trip around Jordan Lade on April 17th.  David of  Jordan Lake Tours  was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who explained and showed many things to the group including some bald eagles,  a nest with an eagle chick, cormorants, herons, and osprey.

The Durham Symphony Orchestra will present a concert in Pineywood Park on Sunday, April 22, at 5:00 pm. Those attending should bring their lawn chair.
 

Pet Etiquette

Pet owners are responsible for picking up the poop left by their pets. Over the past several months, there has been a noticeable increase in the amount of dog poop near (and in some cases, on) the Woodlake trails. If you see a dog owner not picking up after their pet, please remind the owner of their responsibility. If the owner doesn’t do so, send an e-mail to grounds @ woodlakecommunity.org.
 

Maintenance of WHOA Woodlands

Maintenance of vegetation on WHOA property is the responsibility for the WHOA. Homeowners should not remove or prune trees or other vegetation on WHOA property without approval from the WHOA and should not dispose of pruned branches or other yard waste on WHOA  property (treat Association property the same way you would your other neighbors).
